Summer competition at Wisla

Last weekend the traditional Summer Grand Prix in ski jumping was held at the Adam Malysz Ski Jump in Wisla. In both women's and men's events two winners each were crowned on the large hill. On Saturday, Jakub Wolny from Poland won the men's event in a home match. The young athlete was happy about his first victory and wants to take the positive feeling with him into the winter. Second place went to the Austrian jumper Jan Hoerl. Third place went to Dawid Kubacki, also from Poland. He was able to carry over his series of successes to the next day, as he won the competition on Sunday. Second place went to Jan Hoerl, as on the previous day, ahead of Anze Lanisek from Slovenia.

In the women's event Ursa Bogataj from Slovenia celebrated a double victory, she won both days with good distances of up to 133m. Sara Takanashi from Japan was also second on both days. The third place went once to her compatriot Nozomi Maruyama and once to the Austrian Marita Kramer.
