NORWAY'S MIXED RELAY WINS IN OTEPÄÄ

Even without the two Boe brothers, victory in the 4 X 7.5 Km Mixed Relay went to the relay team from Norway on the last day in Otepää, Estonia.

In the sold-out Tehvandi Arena in Otepää the Olympic Champion from Beijing in the line-up with Sivert Bakken, Vetle Christiansen, Tiril Eckhoff and Ingrid Tandrevold was not to be broken, dominated the race from the beginning and won in 1.19.39,3 hours with a lead of 22,5 seconds ahead of Sweden and 34,6 seconds ahead of France on the other places.
The German relay team finished fourth, 1:53.7 minutes behind winner Norway.

1. Norwegen    1.19.39,3 Std.
2.Schweden    + 22,5 Sek.
3. Frankreich   + 34,6 Sek.

Statement Tiril Eckhoff:" The victory here was very nice, however, I am totally tired."
