NORWAY WINS SINGLE MIXED. PODIUM FOR GERMANY

At the end of the BIathlon World Cup week in Otepää the victory in the single mixed relay race went to the duo from Norway as expected.

Sturla Holm Laegreid and Marte Olsbu determined and controlled the race from the beginning and took another World Cup victory.
With a lead of 12.4 seconds over Sweden ( Hanna Oeberg and Sebastian Samuelsson) and 17.9 seconds over Germany ( Franziska, Erik Lesser ) they were unbeatable in front of an impressive and atmospheric crowd.
Fourth place went to the relay team from France.
 
Results Single Mixed Relay, Otepää:
 
1. Norwegen         34.12,8 Minuten 
2. Schweden        + 12,4 Sek.
3. Deutschland    + 17,9 Sek.
 
Statement Marte Olsbu:" It is very pleasant to go to Holmenkollen with a victory. For me it was a successful World Cup week here in Otepää. We felt very comfortable, thank the great crowd for the support, and hope that there will be more World Cup races here."
 
Statement Sturla Holm Laegreid: "You can see that the season has taken a lot of energy. Of course I am happy about our victory today. Now it's time to recover a bit and then give everything again at the final at Holmenkollen."
