Close behind him, on ranks 2 and 3, followed the Norwegians Halvor Egner Granerud and teammate Robert Johansson who in the end were just behind Kobayashi with 299.2 points & 298.6 points.

The top 5 was rounded off by Marius Lindvik (NOR) and Karl Geiger (GER) in the first jumping of the tour.
The German, Karl Geiger preserves his chances to jump for the overall victory.
Markus Eisenbichler finished in 7th place, with Stephan Leyhe two places behind in 9th.
Pius Paschke finished in 26th place & teammate Constantin Schmid in 31st place.
Severin Freund was disqualified due to his non-compliant suit.
The competition continues on Friday, 31.12.2021 with the qualification for the New Year's Jumping in Garmisch - Partenkirchen (GER).
