In the daily standings, Havlor Egner Granerud from Norway once again showed a strong performance and was able to enjoy second place in the end.
The German Karl Geiger was happy about the 3rd place at the end of the tour, even if he was not completely satisfied with his second run.
“Der zweite Sprung ärgert mich ein bissl, es war aber ein guter Wettkampf. Speziell der erste Sprung war wirklich sau gut, den nehme ich mit” so Geiger im Interview gegenüber der ARD.
In the end, a good 5th place was enough for Japan's Ryoyu Kobayashi to be able to decide the 2021/2022 tour for himself. (1162.3 points)
The 25 - year old underpins his form with consistently strong performances and is therefore considered a favorite for the Olympic Games in Beijing.
Furthermore, the Norwegian Marius Lindvik (1138.1 points) and compatriot Halvor Egner Granerud (1128.2 points) follow.
The German Karl Geiger was 4th overall (1123.6 points). Training colleague Markus Eisenbichler was able to secure 5th place. (1117.6 points)
