KinetiXx athletes dominate Nordic winter sports<\/strong><\/p>\n

A special winter sports season has come to an end. Time to review this so successful season of the KinetiXx athletes. Already before this season it was clear, the competitions will be completely reworked this winter and adapted to the pandemic under special conditions and without spectators. Some competitions could not take place as planned, not all athletes could travel to some World Cup venues. Nevertheless, winter sports could consider themselves lucky, because at least a World Cup season took place.<\/em><\/p>\n

Eine besondere Wintersportsaison ist zu Ende gegangen. Zeit, diese so erfolgreiche Saison der KinetiXx Athleten noch einmal Revue passieren zu lassen. Schon vor dieser Saison war klar, die Wettbewerbe werden in diesem Winter komplett neu \u00fcberarbeitet und angepasst an die Pandemie, unter speziellen Bedingungen und ohne Zuschauer ausgetragen. Einige Wettk\u00e4mpfe konnten nicht wie geplant stattfinden, an einige Weltcuporte konnten nicht alle Athleten reisen. Dennoch durfte sich der Wintersport gl\u00fccklich sch\u00e4tzen, denn es fand immerhin eine Weltcupsaison statt.<\/p>\n

And also this season, the KinetiXx team was able to grow by some top athletes and thus became more and more successful. In ski jumping, the Norwegian Eagles were equipped with the innovative KinetiXx jumping gloves for the first time, and in biathlon, the French biathletes Justine Braisaz-Bouchet as well as Julia Simon and the Frenchman Simon Desthieux, among others, joined the KinteiXx team. Among the cross-country skiers, Norwegian newcomers Tiril Udnes Weng and Erik Valnes were convincing in their World Cup debut and even finished the season with World Cup medals in their luggage.<\/em><\/p>\n

Und auch in dieser Saison konnte das KinetiXx Team um einige Top-Athleten wachsen und wurde so immer erfolgreicher. Bei den Skispringern wurden zum ersten Mal die norwegischen Adler mit den innovativen KinetiXx Sprunghandschuhen ausgestattet und im Team Biathlon wechselten unter anderem die franz\u00f6sischen Biathletinnen Justine Braisaz-Bouchet sowie Julia Simon und der Franzose Simon Desthieux ins KinteiXx Team. Bei den Langl\u00e4ufern konnten die norwegischen Newcomer Tiril Udnes Weng und Erik Valnes bei ihrem Weltcup Deb\u00fct \u00fcberzeugen und sogar mit WM-Medaillen im Gep\u00e4ck die Saison beenden.<\/p>\n

Die Erfolge unserer KinetiXx Athleten sprechen auch in diesem Jahr wieder f\u00fcr sich. Obwohl der Handschuhhersteller KinetiXx erst seit drei Saisons im Wintersport aktiv ist und Athleten in den Disziplinen Biathlon, Langlauf, Skisprung und Nordische Kombination mit hochwertigen Funktionshandschuhen ausr\u00fcstet, z\u00e4hlen in allen Disziplinen einige der besten Athleten zum KinetiXx Team. In den nordischen Disziplinen wurden in diesem Winter insgesamt 169 Wettk\u00e4mpfe<\/strong> ausgetragen, dabei gingen 265 Podestpl\u00e4tze<\/strong> an Athleten mit KinetiXx Handschuhen. Insgesamt 101 Weltcupsiege<\/strong>, 88 zweite Pl\u00e4tze<\/strong> und 76 Drittplatzierungen<\/strong> konnten die KinetiXx Athleten \u00fcber den Winter verbuchen. (Alle Wertungen inkl. Teamwertung mit je der Anzahl an KinetiXx Athleten auf dem Podest) Oder in Kristallkugeln ausgedr\u00fcckt: Vier<\/strong> KinetiXx Athleten konnten sich eine der acht gro\u00dfen Kristallkugeln<\/strong> f\u00fcr den Gesamtweltcup in den unterschiedlichen nordischen Disziplinen sichern. Von den insgesamt dreizehn kleinen Kristallkugeln<\/strong> f\u00fcr die Disziplinweltcups waren es acht Troph\u00e4en<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The successes of our KinetiXx athletes speak for themselves again this year. Although the glove manufacturer KinetiXx has only been active in winter sports for three seasons and equips athletes in the disciplines of biathlon, cross-country skiing, ski jumping and Nordic combined with high-quality functional gloves, some of the best athletes in all disciplines are part of the KinetiXx team. In the Nordic disciplines, a total of 169 competitions<\/strong> were held this winter, with 265 podium places<\/strong> going to athletes wearing KinetiXx gloves. A total of 101 World Cup victories<\/strong>, 88 second places<\/strong> and 76 third places<\/strong> were achieved by KinetiXx athletes over the winter. (All rankings, including team rankings with the number of KinetiXx athletes on the podium) Or expressed in crystal globes: Four<\/strong> KinetiXx athletes were able to secure one of the eight big crystal globes<\/strong> for the overall World Cup in the various Nordic disciplines. Im Biathlon hie\u00df in diesem Jahr die dominierende Nation ganz klar Norwegen. Im Gesamtweltcup der Herren lieferten sich Newcomer Sturla Laegreid und Johannes Thingnes Boe ein Kopf an Kopf Rennen, das der Routinier im letzten Rennen der Saison f\u00fcr sich entscheiden konnte. F\u00fcr den jungen Norweger Sturla ist der zweite Platz im Gesamtweltcup in seiner ersten Saison aber ein riesiger Erfolg. Auf Platz drei folgt der Franzose Quentin Fillon Maillet. Mit Tarjei Boe (4), Johannes Dale (5) und Simon Desthieux (9) tragen also insgesamt sechs der Top 10 im Herren Biathlon Weltcup KinetiXx Handschuhe. Auch bei den Damen gab es eine \u00dcberfliegerin der Saison, wie kann es anders sein, aus Norwegen. Tiril Eckhoff steigerte sich von Rennen zu Rennen und war am Ende kaum noch zu stoppen. Der Gesamtweltcup sowie die beiden kleinen Kristallkugeln f\u00fcr die Sprint- und Verfolger Disziplin gehen auf ihr Konto. Insgesamt konnte sie sich in dieser Saison elf Weltcup Siege und sechs WM Medaillen auf der Pokljuka sichern. Ihre gr\u00f6\u00dfte Konkurrentin Marte Olsbu Roiseland folgt ihr im Gesamtweltcup auf dem zweiten Platz. Mit Platz zehn im Gesamtweltcup z\u00e4hlt ebenfalls die junge franz\u00f6sische Biathletin Julia Simon zum KinetiXx Team. Bei 58 ausgetragenen Biathlonrennen standen schlussendlich 133 KinetiXx Athleten auf dem Podest.<\/p>\n

In the biathlon, the dominant nation this year was clearly Norway. In the men’s overall World Cup, newcomer Sturla Laegreid and Johannes Thingnes Boe had a face-to-face race, which Johannes won in the last race of the season. But for the young Norwegian Sturla the second place in the overall World Cup in his first season was also a huge success. Frenchman Quentin Fillon Maillet follows in third place. With Tarjei Boe (4), Johannes Dale (5) and Simon Desthieux (9), a total of six of the top 10 in the men’s biathlon World Cup are wearing KinetiXx gloves. In the women’s race there was also an overachiever of the season, how could it be otherwise, from Norway. Tiril Eckhoff improved from race to race and was hardly to be stopped at the end. The overall World Cup as well as the two small crystal globes for the sprint and pursuit disciplines go to her account. In total, she was able to secure eleven World Cup victories and six Worldchampionship medals on Pokljuka this season. Her biggest competitor Marte Olsbu Roiseland follows her in second place in the overall World Cup. With tenth place in the overall World Cup, the young French biathlete Julia Simon is also part of the KinetiXx team. In 58 biathlon races, 133 KinetiXx athletes were on the podium.<\/em><\/p>\n

Langlauf<\/strong><\/p>\n

Den Langlauf erwischte es in dieser Saison etwas h\u00e4rter. Es wurden Rennen und Weltcuporte verschoben und einige Athleten konnten am Gro\u00dfteil der Rennen nicht teilnehmen. So vor allem die Norweger, die im Dezember die Wettk\u00e4mpfe nicht bestritten und nach Norwegen zur\u00fcckkehrten. Doch die Weltmeisterschaften in Oberhof holten durch eine tolle Organisation und ein gro\u00dfes Starterfeld so einiges wieder auf. In dieser Saison nicht zu stoppen war KinetiXx Athlet Alexander Bolshunov. Er gewann neben der Tour de Ski auch den Gesamtweltcup und die kleine Kugel f\u00fcr die Distance Disziplin. Des Weiteren konnten bei den Damen Tatjana Sorina, Natalia Nepryaeva und Yulia Stupak einige Weltcup Erfolge feiern. Bei den Weltmeisterschaften sicherte sich die Norwegerin Tiril Udnes Weng einen Platz in der Staffelmannschaft und holte mit Norwegen Gold. Auch die jungen Norweger und KinetiXx Athleten Erik Valnes und Harald Amundsen konnten sich in Oberstdorf ihre ersten WM Medaillen sichern. Insgesamt sicherten sich die KinetXx Athleten in 48 Rennen 49 Podestplatzierungen.<\/p>\n

Cross-country skiing was hit a bit harder this season. Races and World Cup venues were postponed and some athletes could not participate in the majority of races. So especially the Norwegians, who did not compete in December and returned to Norway. But the World Championships in Oberhof made up for it with a great organization and a large starting field. Unstoppable this season was KinetiXx athlete Alexander Bolshunov. He won not only the Tour de Ski but also the overall World Cup and the small globe for the Distance discipline. Furthermore, Tatjana Sorina, Natalia Nepryaeva and Yulia Stupak celebrated some World Cup successes in the women’s category. At the World Championships, Norwegian Tiril Udnes Weng secured a place in the relay team and won gold with Norway. Young Norwegians and KinetiXx athletes Erik Valnes and Harald Amundsen also secured their first Worldchampionship medals in Oberstdorf. In total, KinetXx athletes secured 49 podium finishes in 48 races.<\/p>\n

\u00dcberflieger der Saison: Halvor Egner Granerud<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Skispringen<\/strong><\/p>\n

Einer der kam, sprang und siegte war in diesem Winter, im wahrsten Sinne des Wortes, \u00dcberflieger Halvor Granerud. Der Norweger flog in seiner ersten Weltcupsaison mit elf Siegen an allen vorbei und sicherte sich mit gro\u00dfem Vorsprung den Gesamtweltcup. Aber auch Team Polen zeigte in diesem Jahr wieder seine ganze St\u00e4rke und stellte mit Routinier Kamil Stoch wie auch schon im Vorjahr (Dawid Kubacki) den Vierschanzentournee-Sieger. Auch die Skisprung-Damen zeigten in diesem Winter ihre St\u00e4rke auf der Schanze und \u00fcberzeugten mit guten Leistungen. Silje Opseth konnte einige Weltcup-Platzierungen sammeln und landete am Ende im Gesamtweltcup an vierter Stelle. W\u00e4hrend Vorjahres-Gesamtsiegerin Maren Lundby noch nicht zu ihrer gewohnten Form fand, konnte sie doch bei den Weltmeisterschaften in Oberstdorf \u00fcberzeugen und sicherte sich die goldene sowie drei weitere Medaillen. Einzig der Sturz von Daniel-Andr\u00e9 Tande im Skifliegen von Planica \u00fcberschattete die Saison, er ist jedoch auf dem Weg der Besserung. Alles in allem sicherten sich die KinetiXx Adler in der letzten Saison in 45 Springen 73 Platzierungen auf dem Podest.<\/p>\n

One who came, jumped and won this winter was Halvor Granerud. The Norwegian flew past everyone in his first World Cup season with eleven victories and secured the overall World Cup with a large lead. But Team Poland also showed its full strength again this year and provided the Four Hills Tournament winner with Kamil Stoch, just like last year (Dawid Kubacki). The women’s ski jumpers also showed their strength on the hill this winter and convinced with good performances. Silje Opseth was able to collect some World Cup placings and ended up in fourth place in the overall World Cup. While last year’s overall winner Maren Lundby did not find her usual form yet, she could convince at the World Championships in Oberstdorf and secured the gold medal as well as three other medals. Only the fall of Daniel-Andr\u00e9 Tande in ski flying in Planica overshadowed the season, but he is on the road to recovery. All in all, the KinetiXx Eagles secured 73 podiums in 45 competitions last season.<\/em><\/p>\n

Nordische Kombination<\/strong><\/p>\n

In dieser Disziplin hielt der Japaner Akito Watabe die Fahnen f\u00fcr das KinetiXx Team hoch. Mit einem Weltcupsieg und einigen Platzierungen sicherte er sich den zweiten Platz in der Gesamtwertung. Leider wurden auch in der nordischen Kombination einige Wettk\u00e4mpfe gestrichen und so mussten die Athleten mit dem abgespeckten Wettkampf-Plan zurechtkommen. Auch bei der WM in Oberstdorf konnte Watabe gl\u00e4nzen und sicherte sich die Bronze Medaille im Einzel. Insgesamt konnten in der Nordischen Kombination zehn Podestpl\u00e4tze in 18 Wettbewerben erreicht werden.<\/p>\n

In this discipline, Japan’s Akito Watabe held the flags high for the KinetiXx team. With a World Cup victory and some placings he secured the second place in the overall ranking. Unfortunately, some competitions in the Nordic combined were also cancelled and so the athletes had to cope with the slimmed down competition schedule. Watabe was also able to shine at the World Championships in Oberstdorf and secured the bronze medal in the individual event. In total, ten podium places were achieved in 18 competitions in the Nordic combined.<\/em><\/p>\n
