The wind, the wind….. this could be the rhyme of the 10 km women’s pursuit in \u00d6stersund. In a crazy race, which was characterized by many mistakes at the shooting range, it went back and forth also for the winner Marte Olsbu Roiseland. Four times she had to do a extra loop, but at the same time she was able to benefit from the many mistakes of her competitors. But with a fantastic running time she secured the victory today. After the season was not as successful for her as she had hoped after the WCH in Antholz, the victory in the pursuit was important for the Norwegian today. Second went to the most successful athlete of this winter Tiril Eckhoff who also shot four misses. Hanna Sola from Belarus finished third, she had a face to face race with France’s Julia Simon in the last shooting, who finally had to miss two targets and finished fourth.<\/p>\n

A big surprise was the fifth place of Emilie Kalkenberg, who was the best shooter in the field with two misses. In the DSV team Franziska Preuss could once again show the best performance. Despite four misses she was able to move up from 23rd to sixth position. Janina Hettich could also make up places and finished twelfth. Vanessa Hinz finished in 19th place. With one of the best shooting performances also Vanessa Voigt came far forward. In her second World Cup race she took her first World Cup points in 25th place. Denise Herrmann finished the race in 28th place. Anna Weidel finished 58th after a weak performance in the run and 9 misses.<\/p>\n

Windlotterie entscheidet Damen Verfolger<\/b><\/p>\n

Der Wind, der Wind….. so K\u00f6nnte man sich den Reim auf den 10 Km Damenverfolger von \u00d6stersund manchen. In einem verr\u00fcckten Rennen, welches von vielen Fehlern am Schie\u00dfstand gepr\u00e4gt war, ging es auch f\u00fcr die Siegerin Marte Olsbu Roiseland hin und her. Vier Mal musste sie eine Ehrenrunde drehen, gleichzeitig konnte sie aber auch von den vielen Fehlern ihrer Konkurrenz profitieren. Mit einer aber fantastischen Laufzeit sicherte sie sich heute souver\u00e4n den Sieg. Nachdem die Saison f\u00fcr sie nicht so erfolgreich verlief, wie nach der WM in Antholz erhofft, war der Sieg im Verfolger heute wichtig f\u00fcr die Norwegerin. Zweite wurde die erfolgreichste Athletin dieses Winters Tiril Eckhoff, die ebenfalls vier Fehler geschossen hatte. Hanna Sola aus Belarus kam als Dritte ins Ziel, sie lieferte sich im letzten Schie\u00dfen ein Kopf an Kopf Rennen mit der Franz\u00f6sin Julia Simon, die schlie\u00dflich zwei Mal in die Strafrunde musste und somit Vierte wurde.<\/p>\n

Eine gro\u00dfe \u00dcberraschung war der f\u00fcnfte Platz von Emilie Kalkenberg, die mit zwei Fehlsch\u00fcssen die beste Sch\u00fctzin im Feld war. Im DSV- Team konnte Franziska Preuss konnte wieder einmal die beste Leistung erbringen. Trotz vier Fehler konnte sie sich von Platz 23 auf Position sechs vorarbeiten. Janina Hettich konnte ebenfalls Pl\u00e4tze gutmachen und kam als zw\u00f6lfte ins Ziel. Vanessa Hinz kam auf Platz 19 ins Ziel. Mit einer der besten Schie\u00dfleistungen kam auch Vanessa Voigt weit nach vorne. In ihrem zweiten Weltcup Eisatz nahm sie sich auf Platz 25 ihre ersten Weltcup Punkte mit. Denise Herrmann beendete als 28. das Rennen. Anna Weidel wurde nach einer schwachen Vorstellung im Laufen und 9 Fehlsch\u00fcssen 58.<\/div>\n

Das war heute eine absolute Lotterie am Schie\u00dfstand. Ich hatte teilweise gute aber auch katastrophale Bedingungen und musste sehr k\u00e4mpfen. L\u00e4uferisch gibt es nichts zu bem\u00e4ngeln, und ich bin sehr happy \u00fcber meinen heutigen Sieg\u201c<\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Es war ein sehr komisches Rennen heute, mit vier Strafrunden noch den zweiten Platz zu belegen, spricht glaube ich f\u00fcr sich. Noch ein Rennen, dann geht eine sehr erfolgreiche aber auch anstrengende Saison f\u00fcr mich zu Ende.“<\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n
