Tiril Eckhoff remains the athlete who is hard to beat this winter. In the last sprint race of the season she won the 7.5 km of \u00d6stersund with 2.5 seconds ahead of Dorothea Wierer and Ingrid Tandrevold, who secured the third podium place with a bravura performance.<\/p>\n

In her 13th World Cup victory this season, the overall World Cup winner could afford one mistake, went into the final lap 5.5 seconds behind and was once again unstoppable in the cross-country. A strong performance was also shown by her friend and compatriot Ingrid Tandrevold, who once again secured a great third place with a flawless shooting. Marte Olsbu finished sixth, 18.2 seconds behind and with a miss at the shooting range.<\/p>\n

A strong performance was the ninth place of Ida Lien, who was able to get a good starting position for the chaser with a gap of 25.6 seconds. Best German in 17th place was young Janina Hettich. The rest of the DSV starters were in the middle of the field. After an exhausting season Franziska Preuss (23rd), Vanessa Hinz (27th), Anna Weidel (31st) and Denise Herrmann (34th) finished in the middle of the field. Vanessa Voigt, as the winner of the IBU Cup also made it into the top 60 for the chaser in 57th place. Cross-country sprint Olympic champion Stina Nilsson celebrated a successful debut as a biathlete in her home country and qualified with a gap of 55.9 seconds as 26th for the pursuit race.<\/p>\n

Kimme – Korn – Tiril<\/h4>\n

Tiril Eckhoff bleibt die Athletin, die in diesem Winter kaum zu schlagen ist. Im letzten Sprintrennen der Saison gewann sie die 7,5 km von \u00d6stersund mit 2,5 Sekunden Vorsprung vor Dorothea Wierer und Ingrid Tandrevold, die sich mit einer bravour\u00f6sen Vorstellung den dritten Podest Platz sicherte.<\/p>\n

Bei ihrem 13. Weltcup Sieg in dieser Saison konnte sich die Weltcup Gesamtsiegern einen Fehler leisten, ging mit einen R\u00fcckstand von 5,5 Sekunden auf die Schlussrunde und war in der Loipe wieder einmal von niemanden zu halten. Eine starke Leistung zeigte auch ihr Freundin und Landsfrau Ingrid Tandrevold, die sich wieder mal mit einem fehlerfreien Schie\u00dfen einen tollen dritten Platz sichern konnte. Marte Olsbu wurde mit einem R\u00fcckstand von 18,2 Sekunden R\u00fcckstand und einem Patzer am Schie\u00dfstand Sechste.<\/p>\n

Eine starke Leistung war der neunte Platz von Ida Lien, die sich mit einem R\u00fcckstand von 25,6 Sekunden eine gute Ausgangsposition f\u00fcr den Verfolger erk\u00e4mpfen konnte. Beste Deutsche auf Platz 17 war die junge Janina Hettich. Die restlichen DSV -Starterinnen fanden sich in der Mitte des Feldes wieder. So reichte es nach einer anstrengenden Saison f\u00fcr Franziska Preuss ( 23.), Vanessa Hinz ( 27,) Anna Weidel ( 31.) und Denise Herrmann ( 34.) zu Platzierungen im Mittelfeld. Vanessa Voigt, als Siegerin des IBU-Cups schaffte als 57. auch noch den Sprung unter die besten 60 f\u00fcr den Verfolger. Langlauf Sprint-Olympiasiegerin Stina Nilsson feierte bei ihrem Deb\u00fct als Biathletin in ihrer Heimat einen gelungenen Einstand und qualifizierte sich mit einem R\u00fcckstand von 55,9 Sekunden als \u00a026. f\u00fcr das Verfolgerrennen.<\/p>\n

Ich dachte nicht, dass ich heute mit einer Strafrunde gewinnen w\u00fcrde. Doro hat eine wahnsinns Zeit vorgelegt. Ich wusste jedoch was ich l\u00e4uferisch kann und hatte wieder einmal Top-Material. Ich kann es gar nicht glauben heute hier mein 13. Rennen der Saison gewonnen zu haben. Au\u00dferdem freue ich mich unglaublich \u00fcber den dritten Platz von Ingrid.\u201c<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
