The Austrian combined athletes were once again unbeatable in the men’s team competition. Lukas Greiderer and the all-around outstanding Johannes Lamparter already laid the foundation for their success on the hill. With brilliant jumps they were able to break away from Norway and Germany and were only 2 seconds behind the leading duo from Japan after the jumping. Johannes Lamparter managed the longest jump with 140.5 meters.<\/p>\n

In the cross-country the Austrians then extended their lead, which Norway and Germany could not close and had to settle for silver and bronze. Team Japan around the experienced Akito Watabe, still leading by a razor-thin margin after the jumping, could not withstand the pressure in the final round and had to settle for fourth place.<\/p>\n

For the 19-year-old individual World Champion Johannes Lamparter it was the second gold medal of these World Championships with the victory in the team competition. For the DSV team there was still a conciliatory end of these World Championships in Oberstdorf with the win of the bronze medal.<\/p>\n

\u00d6sterreich ist Weltmeister in der nordischen Kombination<\/strong><\/p>\n

Die \u00f6sterreichischen Kombinierer waren im Teamwettbewerb der Herren abermals nicht zu schlagen. Lukas Greiderer und der alles \u00fcberragende Johannes Lamparter legten bereits den Grundstein f\u00fcr ihren Erfolg auf der Schanze. Mit brillanten Spr\u00fcngen konnten sie sich dort vor allem von Norwegen und Deutschland absetzen und hatten nur einen R\u00fcckstand von 2 Sekunden auf das nach dem Springen f\u00fchrende Duo aus Japan. Dabei gelang Johannes Lamparter der weiteste Sprung mit 140,5 Meter.<\/p>\n

In der Loipe bauten die \u00d6sterreicher dann ihren Vorsprung weiter aus, den Norwegen und Deutschland nicht mehr schlie\u00dfen konnten und sich mit Silber und Bronze zufrieden geben mussten. Team Japan um den erfahrenen Akito Watabe, nach dem Springen noch hauchd\u00fcnn in F\u00fchrung liegend, konnte dem Druck in der Schlu\u00dfrunde nicht mehr standhalten und musste sich mit Platz vier zufrieden geben.<\/div>\n

F\u00fcr den 19-j\u00e4hrigen Einzelweltmeister Johannes Lamparter war es mit dem Sieg im Teamwettbewerb die zweite Goldmedaille dieser Weltmeisterschaften. F\u00fcr das DSV Team gab es mit dem Gewinn der Bronzemedaille noch einen vers\u00f6hnlichen Abschluss dieser WM in Oberstdorf.<\/div>\n

Vor dieser WM hat mich niemand gekannt, ich kam als unbeschriebenes Blatt von der JWM, jetzt bin ich Doppel- Weltmeister und fahre mit zwei Goldmedaillen nach Hause. Ich hatte hier nichts zu verlieren, habe mich \u00fcber das Vertrauen der Trainer gefreut und konnte es mit guten Leistungen und zweimal Gold zur\u00fcckgeben.\u201c<\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Der Vorsprung auf die Medaillen war eigentlich zu gro\u00df, um noch in den Kampf um Gold mit eingreifen zu k\u00f6nnen. Nachdem wir aber gemerkt hatten das Yamamoto Schwierigkeiten hatte, haben wir nochmals voll angegriffen und sind \u00fcbergl\u00fccklich dass es noch zu Bronze gereicht hat.\u201c<\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n
