Her only opponent was the fight against the clock, otherwise none of her competitors could hold a candle to her in the 30 km race in Oberstdorf in classic style. Therese Johaug won her 4th gold medal from Oberstdorf – the 4th gold medal over 30 km – the 14th gold medal at a world championship. This balance can be seen. As a great favorite for gold and the title defense, she designed her race over 30 km sovereign from the top and delivered the chasers and the competition absolutely no points of attack. Relatively quickly she let it be seen who was setting the tone in this race, who was the boss in the ring. Halfway through the race she already had a lead of 1.32 minutes over the chasing group. In the last lap her lead was already 2.34 minutes.<\/p>\n

While Therese Johaug was racing towards her gold medal, there was a thrilling fight for silver and bronze in the chasing pack, which Heidi Weng was able to win just ahead of Frida Karlsson. The race was not easy for the DSV starters. Katharina Hennig was involved in a fall, had to let go and could not find her rhythm. The best German with a gap of 4.08,6 minutes was Laura Gimmler on a great 10th place. At the beginning she was still in one of the chasing groups at the back of the pack, she caught up on the last lap and secured her top ten place in the final sprint.<\/p>\n

Johaug rauscht allen davon – 4. Gold in Oberstdorf\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n

Ihr Gegner war einzig und alleine der Kampf gegen die Uhr, sonst konnte keine ihrer Konkurrentinnen im 30 Km Rennen von Oberstdorf im klassischen Stil ihr das Wasser reichen. Souver\u00e4n holte sich Therese Johaug ihre 4. Goldmedaille von Oberstdorf- die 4.Goldmedaille \u00fcber 30 km – die 14. Goldmedaille bei einer Weltmeisterschaft. Diese Bilanz kann sich sehen lassen. Als gro\u00dfe Favoritin auf Gold und der Titelverteidigung gestaltete sie ihr Rennen \u00fcber 30 km souver\u00e4n von der Spitze weg und lieferte den Verfolgern und der Konkurrenz absolut keine Angriffspunkte. Relativ schnell lie\u00df sie erkennen wer in diesem Rennen den Ton angibt, wer der Chef im Ring ist. Bereits zur H\u00e4lfte des Rennens hatte sie einen Vorsprung von 1.32 Minuten auf die Verfolgergruppe heraus gelaufen. In der letzten Runde betrug ihr Vorsprung bereits 2.34 Minuten.<\/p>\n

W\u00e4hrend Therese Johaug ihrer Goldmedaille entgegen rauschte, gab es im Verfolgerfeld einen spannenden Kampf um Silber und Bronze, den Heidi Weng knapp vor Frida Karlsson f\u00fcr sich entscheiden konnte. F\u00fcr die DSV- Starterinnen lief das Rennen nicht einfach. Katharina Hennig wurde in einen Sturz verwickelt, musste abrei\u00dfen lassen und fand nicht mehr zu ihrem Rhythmus. F\u00fcr sie reichte es zum Schlu\u00df nur zu Platz 18. Beste Deutsche mit einem R\u00fcckstand von 4.08,6 Minuten war Laura Gimmler auf einem tollen 10. Platz. Am Anfang noch in einer der hinteren Verfolgergruppen zog sie kontinuierlich\u00a0 nach vorne, holte auf der letzten Runde auf und sicherte sich auf dem Schlusssprint ihren Top-Ten Platz.<\/div>\n

Es war wieder einmal ein bisschen gutes Rennen von mir. Wenn mir einer vor der WM prophezeit h\u00e4tte, dass ich hier viermal Gold holen w\u00fcrde…ich wei\u00df nicht was ich geantwortet h\u00e4tte. Es hat super Spa\u00df gemacht hier zu laufen, doch haben alle Rennen sehr viel Kraft gekostet. So langsam sp\u00fcre ich die lange Saison.\u201c<\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n
