Norwegian newcomer Sturla Holm Laegreid celebrated his biggest success so far in his first World Cup season by winning the World Championship title in the 20 km individual race in Pokljuka. Unimpressed, he hit all 20 targets, ran another very strong race on the track and secured his first World Championship (individual) gold. Laegreid is thus the worthy successor of Martin Fourcade, who followed the race live in the stadium.\u00a0There was a relieving liberation for the DSV team with the win of the silver medal by Arnd Peiffer, who was able to secure the first World Championship precious metal with a gap of 16.9 seconds and a faultless shooting performance as well.\u00a0Johannes Dale, another Norwegian youngster, finished third with one shooting mistake and a very good running performance. Seinen bislang gr\u00f6\u00dften Erfolg in seiner ersten Weltcup Saison feierte der norwegische Newcomer Sturla Holm Laegreid mit dem Gewinn des Weltmeistertitels im Einzelrennen \u00fcber 20 km von Pokljuka. Unbeeindruckt traf er alle 20 Scheiben, lief auf der Strecke wieder ein sehr starkes Rennen und sicherte sich sein erstes WM-(Einzel)-Gold. Laegreid ist somit der w\u00fcrdige Nachfolger von Martin Fourcade, der das Rennen live im Stadion mitverfolgte.\u00a0Einen erl\u00f6senden Befreiungsschlag gab es f\u00fcr den DSV mit dem Gewinn der Silbermedaille von Arnd Peiffer, der mit einem R\u00fcckstand von 16,9 Sekunden und einer ebenfalls fehlerfreien Schie\u00dfleistung das erste WM-Edelmetall sichern konnte.\u00a0Als Dritter ins Ziel schaffte es Johannes Dale, ein weiterer norwegischer Youngster, mit einem Schie\u00dffehler und einer sehr guten Laufleistung.
