Third gold in third race – Eckhoff not to defeat<\/h4>\n

With her victory in the 10 km pursuit race of the World Championships in Pokljuka, Tiril Eckhoff wins her third World Championships gold in the third race. The Norwegian seems to be on the best way to set the record of her team mate Marte Olsbu R\u00f8iseland from last year.\u00a0Right from the beginning she tried to determine the race, but due to two shooting mistakes she had to fight her way back into the race again and again, which she managed well due to her energetic skiing performance.\u00a0After a flawless last shooting she was the first to start the final lap and kept the lead with a 17.3 second advantage over Lisa Theresa Hauser in second place until the finish.\u00a0Anais Chevalier-Bouchet, runner-up in yesterday’s sprint race, took the bronze medal with a gap of 33.0 seconds.\u00a0For defending champion Dorothea Wierer it was only enough for fourth place despite a perfect shooting.\u00a0For the German Ski Association there was again no medal, Franziska Preuss in fifth place and Vanessa Hinz in sixth place finished among the top 10, as well as Marte Olsbu R\u00f8iseland who was only able to finish ninth and her team mate Ingrid Tandrevold in tenth place.<\/p>\n

Drittes Gold im dritten Rennen – Eckhoff nicht zu schlagen<\/h4>\n

Mit ihrem Sieg im 10 km Verfolgungsrennen der WM auf der Pokljuka gewinnt Tiril Eckhoff ihr drittes WM Gold im dritten Rennen. Die Norwegerin scheint auf dem besten Wege zu sein den Rekord ihrer Teamkollegin Marte Olsbu R\u00f8iseland aus dem vergangenen Jahr einstellen zu k\u00f6nnen.\u00a0Gleich von Beginn an versuchte sie das Rennen zu bestimmen, musste sich aber bedingt durch zwei Schie\u00dffehler immer wieder erst in das Renngeschehen zur\u00fcck k\u00e4mpfen, was ihr durch ihre energiegeladene Laufleistung jedoch gut gelang.\u00a0Nach einem fehlerfreien letzten Schie\u00dfen ging sie als erste auf die Schlussrunde und behielt die F\u00fchrung mit einem Vorsprung von 17,3 Sekunde auf Lisa Theresa Hauser als Zweite bis ins Ziel.\u00a0Anais Chevalier-Bouchet, im gestrigen Sprintrennen noch Vize-Weltmeisterin, holte sich mit einem R\u00fcckstand von 33,0 Sekunden die Bronzemedaille.\u00a0F\u00fcr die Titelverteidigerin Dorothea Wierer reichte es trotz fehlerfreiem Schie\u00dfen nur zu Platz vier.\u00a0F\u00fcr den deutschen Skiverband gab es erneut keine Medaille zu holen, Franziska Preuss als F\u00fcnfte und Vanessa Hinz auf Rang sechs belegen Pl\u00e4tze unter den Top 10, ebenso wie Marte Olsbu\u00a0R\u00f8iseland, der es lediglich zu Platz neun reichte, und ihrer Teamkollegin Ingrid Tandrevold auf Rang zehn.<\/p>\n
