Alexander Loginov wins the first race in Antholz<\/h4>\n

Despite a broken ski pole after the last shooting, sprint world champion Alexander Loginov was not to be beaten in the 20 km individual race in Antholz. With a clean shooting the victory was not to steal from him. He was followed by the Norwegian shooting star Sturla Holm Laegreid, who was once again convincing in spite of two penalty minutes. Laegreid, wearing the red and blue jersey, thus secured second place.\u00a0Quentin Fillon Maillet seems to be back to his old form and took the third place. South Tyrolean Lukas Hofer finished just behind the Frenchman in fourth place.\u00a0Best German was Arnd Peiffer in fifth place.<\/p>\n

The second place of Sturla Holm Laegreid was a clear message to his team mate and current World Cup leader Johannes Thingnes Boe in the fight for the overall World Cup. Boe finished tenth with 4 penalty minutes. Vetle Christiansen delivered a strong performance with his seventh place as well as the recovered Erlend Bjoentegaard in ninth.\u00a0For Tarjei Boe it was only enough for 14th place in the individual race with three penalty minutes. Simon Desthieux finished the race in 21st position.<\/p>\n

It was the old Alexander Loginov again today. I had a good feeling before the race, nevertheless I am very, very happy about my victory today. If you score 20 times and have a good ski, you are usually a candidate for the podium.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Today I started the race very concentrated, because it was my first start here in Antholz. It is unimaginable that I finished second with two penalty minutes. Today I gave everything I had.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Slowly I am getting back to my old form and I am getting more stable from race to race. It was a very close finish for third place against Lukas Hofer.
\nHowever, my goal is the World Championships in Pokljuka, and I am working towards that with concentration.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Alexander Loginov gewinnt das erste Rennen in Antholz<\/h4>\n

Trotz eines Stockbruches nach dem letzten Schie\u00dfen war Sprintweltmeister Alexander Loginov im 20 km Einzelrennen von Antholz nicht zu schlagen. Mit einer sicheren Nullnummer und 20 Treffern war ihm der Sieg vor dem norwegischen Shootingstar Sturla Holm Laegreid nicht zu nehmen, der trotz zweier Strafminuten wieder einmal zu \u00fcberzeugen wusste. Laegreid, im roten und blauen Trikot unterwegs, sicherte sich somit den zweiten Platz.\u00a0Zu seiner alten Form scheint Quentin Fillon Maillet wieder zur\u00fcckzufinden und belegte Platz drei. Der S\u00fcdtiroler Lukas Hofer belegter knapp hinter dem Franzosen den vierten Platz.\u00a0Bester Deutscher wurde \u00a0Arnd Peiffer als F\u00fcnftplatzierter.<\/p>\n

Der zweite Platz von Sturla Holm Laegreid war eine klare Kampfansage an seinen Mannschaftskollegen und aktuell Weltcup-F\u00fchrenden Johannes Thingnes Boe im Kampf um den Gesamtweltcup, der mit 4 Strafminuten Platz zehn belegte. Vetle Christiansen lieferte mit seinem siebten Platz eine genauso\u00a0starke Leistung ab wie der wieder genesene Erlend Bjoentegaard als Neunter.\u00a0F\u00fcr Tarjei Boe langte es beim Einzelrennen mit drei Strafminuten lediglich zum 14. Platz. Simon Desthieux beendete als 21. das Rennen<\/div>\n

Das war heute wieder einmal der alte Alexander Loginov. Ich hatte schon vor dem Rennen ein gutes Gef\u00fchl, dennoch bin ich sehr, sehr gl\u00fccklich \u00fcber meinen heutigen Sieg. Wenn du 20 Mal triffst und einen guten Ski hast, dann bist du normalerweise auch ein Kandidat f\u00fcr den Sieg.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Heute bin ich sehr konzentriert ins Rennen gegangen, denn es war mein erster Start in Antholz. Das ich mit zwei Strafminuten noch den zweiten Platz belege ist unvorstellbar. Ich habe heute wieder alles aus mir rausgeholt.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

So langsam finde ich zu meiner alten Form zur\u00fcck, und werde von Rennen zu Rennen stabiler. Das war ein sehr knapper Ausgang um Platz drei gegen\u00fcber Lukas Hofer. Mein Ziel jedoch ist die WM in Pokljuka, und auf dieses arbeitete ich konzentriert hin.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
