The 3rd jumping event of the current 4 Hills Tournament was moved from the actual venue Innsbruck, as an additional replacement - decision to Bischofshofen due to bad weather conditions.
So in the end it was once again Japan's Ryoyu Kobayashi who, after winning the qualification in the morning, also won the second round. (137 meters & 137.5 meters) Due to his consistently strong performances he is now on the verge of his second Tour Grand Slam.
The overall second Marius Lindvik (NOR) could convince in the first round with a distance of 137.5 meters & went into the second duel as the leader. There he was just beaten by the Japanese and was able to finish second.
With snowfall, some upwind phases and therefore always a shortened inrun, Halvor Egner Granerud flew to rank 3.
After a good competition Karl Geiger (GER) flew fourth just missing the podium and could climb up to fifth place in the overall ranking.
Markus Eisenbichler was able to move up to 8th place after his improvement in the second run.
This time the program is tightly packed in Bischofshofen, already on Thursday, January 6, it continues with the qualification for the upcoming decisions.
