The new KinetiXx winter collection

The new winter collection is here and this year there are some highlights, new designs, technologies and sustainable aspects are not neglected either.

When looking at the new collection, two things stand out in particular. Firstly, the large number of new models that the development department has brought to market maturity. Secondly, the clearly recognizable independent and modern design language, which brings a breath of fresh air into the world of Nordic and alpine gloves with its modern, sporty orientation. We present the new collection in detail in this blog.

The Sol Family

In the cross-country skiing sector, KinetiXx serves various categories with corresponding glove families. One example of this is the Sol family, which has been specifically expanded for the new season. The Sol celebrated its premiere last year. A thin cross-country skiing glove with highly breathable materials and a palm with a filigree mesh-like structure that provides plenty of grip. The glove caused quite a stir in the scene and was an instant success. Many athletes, especially in biathlon, opted for the Sol because it is highly tactile and offers good grip on the pole. The two exceptional Norwegian athletes Johannes and Tarjei Boe were particularly involved in the early stages of development. They wanted a highly tactile glove with a secure grip that fits like a second skin.

The development continued. The KinetiXx developers worked on appropriate solutions so that they could also be used in colder conditions, especially as the majority of the Norwegian biathlon team swear by the Sol. All KinetiXx athletes at the top of the World Cup are provided with customized gloves. Accordingly, there was a lot of feedback from the athletes when the KinetiXx specialists began to incorporate fleece layers into the Sol in order to increase the heat retention of the gloves without restricting tactility. This intensive collaboration with top athletes resulted in the new Sol X Warm, which is now equipped with this fleece layer in the backhand that has been optimized over the months.

The Sol X Warm Mitten goes one step further in terms of warmth. This is the mitten version of this highly sporty biathlon and cross-country skiing glove. The KinetiXx top athletes also wear this model 1:1 in competition.

Eike 2.0 and Keke 2.0

Eike and Keke are the best-selling and most popular glove models in the KinetiXx Nordic range to date. For the new season, the Metzingen-based company has further developed its two sporty top sellers, made targeted functional improvements and upgraded them with a new design. The look is classically modern and very sporty. The fit has been improved once again with a slightly modified cut. In terms of functional optimization, Eike 2.0 and Keke 2.0 have a perforated cuff, which increases the breathability of the gloves. The Swabians have also tweaked the grip and used their XxGrip Pro technology on the palm, which ensures a good grip and therefore perfect power transfer to the pole even in very wet conditions. The Berry and Blue color variants are also new.

Feiko

With the Feiko, KinetiXx has upgraded another performance model and underlined this visually with the new dynamic design of this glove. It has been given a new palm with a high-grip silicone print on a supple micro suede material. The brand also uses a perforated cuff on the wrist for added breathability.

Change2Green conserves resources

For fall/winter 2023/24, KinetiXx is presenting the first cross-country skiing glove in its particularly resource-saving Change2Green collection: Natan C2G. A versatile cross-country skiing glove made from 97% recycled materials. It is equipped with a windbreaker material, has a silicone print on the palm and a neoprene cuff that fits snugly around the wrist.

New entry-level models

Nilas is a new entry-level model in the range. It has a comfortable knitted cuff that fits snugly around the wrist. It is equipped with a warm lining. Also new is the Norik model, a warm Nordic glove with an insulating lining, embroidery cuff and XxGripPro palm for a reliable grip. The design is clean and classic.

New skiing gloves

KinetiXx also has something new for alpine skiers. There are two new, pleasantly warm ski gloves with a windproof, waterproof and breathable GORETEX membrane to choose from for men. They are called Brec GTX and Bradin GTX. The design is deliberately kept clean. The features include Gore-Tex®, a warm lining and silicone print on the palm to ensure a secure grip on the ski pole.

The new women's model is called Alysa. KinetiXx has opted for a modern, very unique design here. The knitted cuff fits snugly around the wrist and keeps the warmth inside the glove.

New Kids gloves

KinetiXx is introducing two new winter gloves for the little ones with the Cajus and Cerrin Baby models: perfect for romping, running around and playing in the snow, in cold temperatures and for the first steps on skis. Both gloves are cozy and warm with very practical child-friendly details. These include the catch loop and zippers. On the Cerrin, the zipper even runs across the entire back of the hand, making it much easier for small baby hands to put on and take off. The age-appropriate designs and the berry and blue colors are sure to please parents and kids alike.
